Moo-ving people toward compassionate living
From Katrina Martin - 7 Oct 2004
I was walking home today from work and I went a way I'd never been before. I came across a battery farm where this guy was loading crates full of chickens onto a lorry. It was so horrible I went crazy and was almost in tears. I looked it up on the net when I got in and came across your site. Now I am in tears. The effect this has had on me is immense and I really really wanna do something about this.
I feel so helpless as one person. I'm only 17 years old and wondered what I could do, if there is anything. I can't stand animals being treated as though they're worthless and I hate the human race so much. Please help

Thank you very much for your compassionate letter and offer to help stop the atrocities being inflicted upon animals.
First of all, you're not too young. Young people like you can change the world! You can begin to politely and peacefully tell everyone you can about what you have learned, and ask them to join you in bringing this cruelty to an end. The second part of this effort is being a credible witness by not eating or wearing animals. This is how we started many years ago.
There are many animal advocate groups in the UK. Check around to see of there's one in your area. And always feel free to contact us about anything.
In the Love of the Lord,
Frank and Mary
