Moo-ving people toward compassionate living
From Pamela Bertsch - 25 Nov 2004
To whom this may concern:
I've been looking at your web site for a few days now. You are an angel for putting this together. My father and mother worked for the world wide television evangelist, Rex Humbard for 30+ years. My mother was Rex's personal secretary and my father was his associate. My sister and I were raised in the church and both graduated from Oral Robert's Univ. in Tulsa, OK.
I too believe all creation is from Almighty God and I too believe we should treat all creatures with dignity and respect. Right now I am helping the anti horse slaughter movement. We had a table at The Breeder's Cup here in Texas this year. We got tons of press and tons of people became aware of the problem. I work with The Fund for Horses with Vivian Farrell and also The Texas Humane Legislation Network as well as The SPCA of Texas.
There is so much to be done out there to make people aware that what they're eating comes from horrifying deaths! --- I don't eat meat and believe, we aren't carnivores. This country needs to get the word out that humans shouldn't eat meat. The USDA is full of lies and it's so bad for us as well as does nothing to provide protein to our bodies anyhow. It's all soooo stupid that this practice is going on here and Americans are believing in this for their bodies. So much ignorance!!!
Anyhow. I just wanted to say thank you for your web site. If there's any way I can ever be of any help I'd love to help out! Just e-mail me. I'll be there!
Thanks again ---

Thank you very much for your encouraging letter, and for telling us about the work you are doing to help the animals.
We can always use additional volunteers to help get out the word about compassionate living. If you can think of anything that would help, or if you write an article or letter or find something that you believe we should have on our web site, we would appreciate receiving it (them) from you.
In the Love of the Lord,
Frank and Mary
