From Ann Davison - 5 Dec 2004

When I saw those slaughter pics it broke my heart. I strongly believe that the slaughter of horses must end.

I do agree with those of you who have put a horse down from injuries that could not be fixed or to fix them would mean the horse be strapped in a pen off the ground for weeks. If a horse is truly suffering yes please put them down but in a humane way not bleed out, but a shot or a painless shot in the head I know that was blunt but what other way to put it.

But when the horse is only unwanted don't kill them. There are organizations that will take them do what is necessary to keep them healthy you can sponsor the horses or even adopt one or more. I am about to adopt a horse. Please don't let this madness keep going save the equine race they will disappear if this is allowed to continue stop horse slaughter.

Please help us end the suffering and death of these and other animals by spreading the word to others and ask them to join our mutual efforts to end the cruelty. You can also refer people to our web site so that they can see for themselves.
