From Nancy - 20 Mar 2005 This is horrendous. What can we as consumers do about it? I will not eat ham again or bacon. I can't begin to believe that people could treat any animal like this. Nancy Reply from Frank and Mary Dear Nancy: What is happening to more than 95% of all farmed animals is horrendous. If consumers really want to end the cruelty, they will stop buying any animal products or products containing animal ingredients, as you mentioned. We have a large recipe section www.all-creatures.org/recipes.html that could help with making this transition to a compassionate diet. It would also help if you could spread the word to as many others as you can, and refer people to our web site so that they can see for themselves. We look forward to hearing from you again.
