Moo-ving people toward compassionate living

From Connie - 21 Mar 2005 I hate what I just saw on horses. I am a horse lover who eventually plans on getting one. Yes I am a meat eater but I would never ever eat horse meat. When horses are pregnant they need to be well rested for birth. Horses are graceful beautiful horses that need the same respect as humans along with those other animals. It is just wrong whoever would do such a thing must have a very sick mind. Well if you'd like to talk about this sometime e-mail me. Reply from Frank and Mary Dear Connie: Thank you for your email. The "sick minds" come about because people have limited compassion, and don't extend their feelings of concern beyond their own living experience, so they are indifferent to the pain and suffering of any being outside their own circle. Until we learn to extend our circle of compassion to the whole of creation, there will always some humans or animals that are tortured, suffering, or being killed to satisfy someone's greed. We look forward to hearing from you again. In the Love of the Lord, Frank and Mary Return to Visitors' Comments |
