From Jen - 1 Apr 2005

Greeting's, I was on Google and look up the title 'rabbit' in the search engine for I have been looking for a nice pet.

I came upon the page on animal torture and was shocked to see such cruelty. I'm currently in tears right now and can't believe that this is what is happening.

I want to help, I want to save a innocent life, two, three! It doesn't matter. As soon as I can I will be adopting a rabbit into a loving home. I have also decided to stop eating meat.

Though I am not religious I still understand the pain and suffering those beautiful creatures must have gone through, I'm sure no one would like to have painful open sours on their backs, harmful liquids in their eyes.

I'd like to get my hands on the people that do this to the animals, burn their flesh and pour nail varnish in their eyes, see how they feel.

What has this world come to?

Dear Jen:

Thank you for your very compassionate and encouraging letter, and for your offer to help.

As far as adoptions go, check with you local rescue groups, and don't buy any rabbits from pet stores or breeders.

The greatest help any of us can be is to peacefully tell as many people as we can about the horrors that are going on behind closed doors, and ask them to help end the suffering, too. The more people who become involved, the sooner public opinion is going to demand an end to the cruelty. You can also refer people to our web site so that they can see for themselves.

You also might be interested in our recipe section to help you with your transition to a vegetarian/vegan diet.

In the Love of the Lord,

Frank and Mary
