From Cindy - 3 Apr 2005

Thank you! I do.

Sometimes, even my cousin, they see things that are not good and they get mad but mind their business, like a dog not being treated right. She told me about this her neighbor, but she wouldn't do anything because she was afraid he'd know it was her. I finally did and the dog was taken away from him and adopted, so obviously there was a problem.

I just can't believe owners can watch their dogs be in a fight and be torn apart for their own entertainment. That makes me sick to my stomach. I keep emailing Oprah to bring this to the publics attention and they never respond.

Can you believe these people tie the dogs arms back like that, I didn't sleep all night.

Keep up the good work, it's people like you who will help to stop it and I will spread the word. How many more have to die before this gets stopped that's what I'm worried about.

Dear Cindy:

Thank you for writing back and for telling us about the dog rescue. We also appreciate your encouraging comments.

People do these horrible things because they believe they can get away with it. Our silence encourages them to continue, and even do more. But once we begin to expose the truth, as you did, we help end it.

In the Love of the Lord,

Frank and Mary
