Wishful Thinking |
From Deb Boisvert - 6 Jan 2006 This Christmas my husband decided to make pate and was looking for goose or duck livers. We both love animals, so he decided to forego this delicacy when I explained to him the nonsensical cruelty to a live being. It's one thing to kill for survival but another to torture. We do not need foie gras for survival!!!! I am a carnivore but object to this practice or force-feeding with all my being. How can I help stop this atrocity? Deb Boisvert Reply from Frank and Mary Dear Deb: Thank you very much for writing and telling us about this change in your diet. The best way to end the suffering of any animal is to expose the truth to the public until public outcry demands an end to the cruelty. So, whatever you can do to spread the word with help. You can also refer them to our web site so that they can see for themselves. In the Love of the Lord, Frank and Mary Return to Visitors' Comments |
