From Andrea Knutson 10 Feb 2006

People who are mean to horses should be put in jail for the rest of their lives. Then they would see what it feels like to get beaten with whips and kicked with sharp spurs. Let's see how they feel after all that has happened. Some people are so cruel- they turn to their animals and beat the living hell out of them until they can not take it any more and die. These people think it is funny to abuse their animals, and then if they get put into jail they would not think it is very funny anymore. When they realize what they have done to their animals and can not own animals any more because they did a horrible thing then they might feel sorry for themselves. They should be really sorry for what they did.

Dear Andrea:

Thank you very much for your letter and comments.

Unfortunately, much of the cruelty is protected by law, and very few of these people every feel sorry about the horrible things they do. But you are correct that if they are brought to justice, they would feel sorry for themselves.

This is why it is so important for all of us to expose the truth to as many people as we can and to refer them to our web site so that they can see for themselves. We also need to ask them to speak out to other people and to write letters demanding an end to the cruelty. When public outcry demands an end to the cruelty, the laws will be changed and enforced and the cruelty will be ended, for the most part.

In the Love of the Lord,

Frank and Mary
