Moo-ving people toward compassionate living
From Sussan Best - 29 Jul 2006
We have two drakes as pets. Like children, they have their own
personality, favours and dislikes. They love comfort, good clean food and
water and being hugged and warm.
I cried reading about this, seeing such horror conducted by the mentally
insane taught to be so by the mentally insane.
Don't you have the animal protection laws over there? Isn't there a way
to gain funds to take them to court or, at least expose those who buy the
bottle cruelty, and shame them?

Thank you for writing and for telling us about your ducks.
Unfortunately, this is still legal in many areas. California will eliminate forced feeding by 2012, and every near bills are introduced in New York to make it illegal there, too. Several countries have also banned the production of foie gras.
We need all the help we can get to inform the public of these atrocities and solicit their help in giving animals the right not to be exploited by humans. Please tell as many people as you can.
In the Love of the Lord,
Frank and Mary
