Oh my God!!!!! I had no idea this is what happens to these birds.

I haven't eaten beef or pork in 2 and a half years. I eat fish, not farmed fish. I eat turkey and chicken free range. So when I bought for the first time (goose liver pate), I didn't think much of it. I thought well, they would use all the other parts, instead of throwing away the liver, make pate out of it. Boy was I wrong!

Something made me want to read about what I was eating. So, I ran to the fridge threw out the little liver I had left. I actually felt like being sick.

Poor birds. Thank-you, and I will never eat that stuff again. I'm almost to the point of giving up chicken and turkey too.
