Moo-ving people toward compassionate living
From Maria Christina Ruales - 22 Dec 2006
As the result of the news about the P.Diddy jackets that were taken out of Macys I came to the concept of Raccoon Dogs.
You see, I am an animal lover especially dogs, and I wanted to know what a raccoon dog was and how it looked like, and I was surprised to see that their faces are very similar to my dog (I have a westie). The only difference was the color and the hair and I thought they were so beautiful and even thought of getting one so I did further research and learned about them and then I came across your webpage and I cant stop crying because those pictures are so horrible and I never wear fur and hardly eat meat; sometimes chicken but I refuse to eat any other kind of meat not even fish. But this time these pictures hit home because they reminded so much of my dog and it hurt me so much that people can do things like that.
So I was wondering if you ever need some help, volunteers or anything I can do to help because this has been such a wake up call for me. Please let me help.
My name is Maria Christina Ruales, I live in New York City and go to St. Johns College and I am a political science major. I am 19 years old and a sophomore. I am really good at school 4.0 and I think maybe I can help you guys in something, anything.
Thank you very much. happy holidays!

Thank you very much for your letter of offer of help, which we appreciate and can use.
We have an activist section on our web site: www.all-creatures.org/articles/act.html which should help you get some ideas.
If you would like to write some short articles, we’d love to publish them. If you write letters, we’d like to publish them, too, which would give you more mileage, as each letter would be read by many other people.
You could also organize other students at St. Johns to help you speak out against these atrocities, and you could refer them to our web site so that they can see for themselves.
The more people who speak out, the sooner public opinion will demand an end to the suffering and exploitation of animals.
We hope this helps for a starter.
We look forward to hearing from you.
In the Love of the Lord,
Frank and Mary
