Moo-ving people toward compassionate living
From Kerry and Vicky - 23 Dec 2006
Me and my friend Vicky are both 14 and love horses. We think horse slaughter is disgraceful. How can people do that? It is so wrong.
Horses don't do anything bad to us so why should people do it to them? Horses are not just pets they are friends. Why can't horses that are ill or not wanted go to someone who will care for them.
We think your web site may change peoples views on horse slaughter.

Dear Kerry and Vicky:
Thank you for writing and for your concern.
People do these horrible things to horses, because they do the same things to other animals. In some parts of the world they do the same things to dogs and cats. Human beings need to learn to respect and have compassion for the lives of every single being on the earth, whether human or non-human.
In the meantime we need to speak out and encourage other people to do the same. You can also refer people to our web site so that they can see for themselves.
In the Love of the Lord,
Frank and Mary
