Moo-ving people toward compassionate living
From Ellen King - 25 May 2003
I found an image with a link to your site from www.deviantart.com . The picture was of a pile of slaughtered dogs. This was extremely distressing, but not the first time Iíve seen images and descriptions of such activities. The Korean markets and animal experiments are hideous and truly awful acts... After a good deal of sobbing and feeling wretched, I decided there was little I could do for these pitiful, harmed creatures no matter what you said. People are NOT all good at heart and many are simply fools who do not know better. The murders will continue until there is no market, but there will always be a market for ďmeatĒ. I could, and will stop eating meat.
Your site is very informative, but I do not agree with some of the messages you send. Being an atheist, I find it disturbing that you associate kindness toward animals with religion. You made constant reference and quotes from the bible. People can be compassionate and loving without believing in a god. Please donít take this as an insult, but as a suggestion for the removal of this religious material.
Iím so glad that you all recognize this problem and atrocity. Thank you for your time and effort in making this website.
Thank you very much for your email and comments.
Some of the kindest and most loving people we've met are not religious, and many of them have been turned-off by the hardness of heart they have encountered among so-called religious people. This is the reason that we have put together our web site in the manner we have. It stands as a witness against them, and also as a prayer that they will repent of their indifference and complacency to the pain and suffering of animals.
We look forward to hearing from you again.
In the Love of the Lord,
