Moo-ving people toward compassionate living
From John - 6 Apr 2003
I see what they do to the poor poor bunnies.
I am 17 years old. almost 18. I thought about cruelty to animals, but it never bothered me. My girlfriend adores rabbits, and while she loves all animals she puts rabbits on a high pedestal. I am an obsessive fan of Alice in Wonderland, so of course I have a special place in my heart for white rabbits.
When I came to your website searching for cute pictures of little piggies (piggies are so cuuuuute! ^^) I saw you had a section on rabbits, and I clicked on it thinking I could show my girlfriend, but when I saw the test pictures I was horrified. I had no idea that we perform such horrid atrocities on simple, innocent and altogether wonderful creatures. I think we should be ashamed of ourselves as a species to even consider performing such ungodly horrors. I just want you to know that you changed my eyes. I'm gonna do my part to prevent this, even if it's something as small as just not buying the animal tested products.
Two more things, in the rabbit section you say but this is not the life that millions of rabbits are forced to endure, however, I don't think forced is the right word to be using. it insinuates (sp?) that the animals live a life of hardship at your farm.... or ranch.... place. This is under the rabbits section, next to my favorite picture, the pig and the rabbit eating together. PIGGIES AND BUNNIES! WHAT COULD GO WRONG!

Thank you very much for your email and commitment to help stop this cruelty.
Each person that stops eating animals, will prevent an average of 3 land animals a month from suffering and dying.
Our comment: but this is not the life that millions of rabbits are forced to endure, is intended to mean that millions of rabbits are forced to suffer tortures in laboratories that the rabbit on the sanctuary is not.
We look forward to hearing from your again.
In the Love of the Lord,
