Gillian D. Matthews from Prestatyn rated this title 5 star and wrote:
"This is the most helpful self-help book I've come across and it's
written by a clergyman who has, obviously, involved his expertise in
hypnotherapy with his post as a senior hospital chaplaincy. This book
refrains from glib 'Jim'll fix it' approaches of so many books on
positive thought. Rather it goes into great depths of empathy with the
weary and downcast of society. It is written with spiritual devotion,
simplicity of style and quite some humour. Like other worthy academics
the author has the gift of putting abstract ideas over in easy ways of
understanding. In fact, it would appear as if this book brings together
the piety of a past Dr Leslie Weatherhead with the popularity of a
Norman Vincent Peale. It's a publication - in my mind - which needs to
be on every hospital bedside table. I can't sing its praises enough! "
