Cow's Genuine Love
(Artwork - 007) Genuine Love (paint on salvaged glass) A mother cow carries her baby for 9 months. In a factory farm a mother is only allowed a day, sometimes hours to spend with her child. The baby cow is dragged off to live it’s life in a pen. The mothers milk, intended for child, is then used up for human purposes. As mother and calf are torn away from each other they cry. I wanted to capture the love that all mothers with their new baby feel. Love is not expressly a human emotion.
