Why are GMOs against God’s Will?

The first and most important reason GMOs (genetically modified organisms) are so dangerous is because we are not God. Human beings, though created marvelously in God’s image and endowed with remarkable minds and the ability to invent and create incredible new ideas, are not God. We never have been and we never will be. Unfortunately, most of our problems come with our inability to accept this Truth.
If God, in all of His omnipotence and infinite wisdom, did not find it necessary to create a tomato with a fish gene spliced into it to make it last longer on a grocery store shelf, after it had already been irradiated, grown with fertilizers and doused with pesticides, then why should we?
Such alteration (GMO) of species specificity is a serious violation of God’s natural order: “And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon earth: and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.” (Genesis 1:11-12)
Therefore, GMOs are against God’s will.
