Three once beautiful and life-loving deer lay lifeless on the rack
of a NYS DEC (Department of Environmental Conservation) SUV on
the first morning of firearms hunting. …Their tortured bodies were
so twisted that it was hard to make out where they started and ended.
Strapped into the center was a scalp of a young buck.
The hunter’s quota had quickly been filled, one buck and two "antlerless" deer.
As they had been gutted, it was not possible to tell if the "antlerless" deer
