Following the AP article that was written about the
Amendment to ban local hunting limits, for which we were able to
provide all of the appropriate contacts for Rockland County and
people who were harassed by hunters, we were able to take Fox to
the property of people who found a tree stand facing the house
and horses about 200 feet from their horse corral where they care
for their own horses and also board horses.
Valentina’s husband
is a fireman in NYC who was one of the first down to the World
Trade Center on 9-11. He said, "My
wife is concerned about walking around our property because of
hunters and called in Wildlife Watch to walk with her. I have to
worry that my wife and our animals (dogs, cats, horses) will be
killed by bullets while I’m in the city rescuing others. There’s
something wrong with this picture!"
