LEAGUE OF HUMANE VOTERS
Congratulations to the League of Humane Voters for their successful
Breakfast for Legislators in Albany, NY. It was attended by 12 very
busy legislators who sipped coffee with soymilk and ate vegan muffins
with vegan margarine. The food was beautifully prepared by the chef
of the Albany Room in the NYS Legislature building.

In addition to the great food, the legislators took time from their
busy schedules hear presentations by members of LOHV on four issues
of importance to the League: An end to foie gras production (NY is
home to the largest foie gras production company in the world); the
passage of the Home Rule Trapping Bill, which would give counties
and towns the authority to pass trapping bans or restrictions; an
end to canned hunting; and extending the protection of the Buster
Bill to wildlife. For more information about the League and to start
a chapter in your area, please contact LOHV Secretary, www.lohv-usa.org
