It is with great sadness that we report
the following:
www
In the last issue of the C.A.S.H. Courier,
we showed a photo of Bob Croissant using the laser gun
(a non-lethal method of goose dissuasion). Bob sadly passed away
in December,
shortly after the printing of our newsletter. The animal protection
community
of Woodstock, NY has lost someone very special. We hope that others
will follow in Bob’s footsteps which led to wherever an animal
needed help.
www
We were so sorry to hear the news of the
passing of Edward Kehrin who was a C.A.S.H. supporter. We are grateful
for
Mr. Kehrin’s surprise bequest to our organization.
www
Hans Siegenthaler, a
20 year vegan, animal/social/environmental activist, and "brilliant
beam of light" (as described by Kathryn Kovach in her obituary
which has been widely distributed), sadly passed away on January
23, 2003. His wife, Coby, was with him, along with close friends.
He was 81. Our deepest condolences to Coby Siegenthaler who will,
no doubt, carry on the goals she shared with her husband and best
friend.

Matt Francera passed
away suddenly from a heart attack, at the age of 49 on April 5.
As a tireless worker for animal liberation, he will be sorely missed.
For those who did not have the honor of knowing him, Matt was a
longtime vegan and animal activist with NJARA. Please make a notation
on your check "Matt’s fund." New Jersey Animal Rights
