Wildlife Watch Transports an injured Red Tail Hawk
captured by Janet DeRosa of Haverstraw, NY. The hawk was relayed
from Marilyn Leybra and Celia Lindblom to Peter Muller where he was
brought to Dr. Heinz Meng in New Paltz, NY. Because Dr. Meng said
he was blind in one eye from the impact of the collision, we later
transferred him to the Holly Edelson Wildlife Rehabilitation Center
in Woodstock, NY where Denise Edelson treated his eye. He recovered
his vision in a week and was successfully released.
