Joyce Friedman pulled together an amazing first
party to fundraise for LOHV and introduce the organization.
Senator Frank Padavan, a Republican from Queens, NY who’s in the
NYS Senate has been so supportive of the animal rights issues
that LOHV has
brought to him.
He was the first legislator to receive an award
from LOHV. Senator Padavan came to the party to receive the award
and gave a beautiful speech praising LOHV for its goals and agreeing
that the legislative approach is the way to go.
