In Memory of Someone Who Did More For Deer Than Anyone Else in the World: Ollie Johnston

Ollie Johnston was the main animator of Bambi. No, we didnít know him, but upon reading of his death, we wished to pay homage to him.

It was reported that it was that unforgettable scene depicting Bambiís motherís death of which he was most proud. That scene has brought tears to the eyes of generations of young and old viewers.

No matter how hard hunters and game agencies may try, they will never lose the terrible stigma of being Bambiís momís killer. He has left an indelible image that can never be erased by glossy PR.
