New Mexico
Letter from Joe Miele, President of C.A.S.H.
I’m happy to tell you that C.A.S.H. has expanded its range with my move to New Mexico.
The animals of the desert need a voice within our organization, and
we hope to strengthen the call here to bring about an end to sport
hunting. In this area of the country, there is a great need for the kind
of work that we do, with coyotes, javelina, and desert wildlife of all
kinds being killed mercilessly and without conscience.

Even the magnificent Sandhill Crane is legally hunted.
In the short time we’ve been here, we’ve heard from wildlife
advocates who have welcomed us with open arms, and we’re happy to be of
help where it is needed. We’ll still be working tirelessly for wildlife
in New York, California, Wisconsin and everywhere in between, but in
addition we will now be a voice for the wildlife of the Chihuahuan Desert
and throughout the southwest.
