ARTICLE from the Spring 2009 Issue

Bait-Dog Had Eyes Slit And Teeth Pulled

Pebbles is a two year old American Pit Bull Terrier. She had her eyes slit and is now blind, we donít know how permanent it is as we donít have the funds to take her to a canine ophthalmologist. She also had most of her teeth pulled. She was used as a bait dog we think to train other dogs to kill. All of her fur has fallen out due to neglect. She was left to die in a flooded cellar in a house with no heat or water. State Police and Dog Control are involved.
