Peter Spoke At City Hall To Protest Prospect Park Goose Killing

8/12/10 Peter Muller, V.P. of C.A.S.H., was invited to address a rally sponsored by IDA (In Defense of Animals) at New York City Hall against the killing of 400 Canada geese in Prospect Park in Brooklyn. Over one-hundred demonstrators participated at the rally. The speakers included New York State Senator Eric Adams, New York City Councilmember Letitia James, as well as speakers from the animal protection movement from the greater New York Metropolitan area.

One of the highpoints of the rally occurred when Mayor Bloomberg’s limo pulled up so he could enter City Hall. After one glance at the crowd, the limo turned tail and delivered “Hizzonor” to the back door of City Hall so he could sneak in unobserved..
