A restaurant owner whose wife wanted to end their marriage shot her
to death in their upscale Manalapan home, then turned the gun on
himself, authorities said yesterday.
The bodies of Joseph Impor tuna, 38, and his 32-year-old wife,
Vincenza, were found in the master bedroom of their Bailey Court home
Monday night after relatives, concerned the couple had not answered
their phone for several hours, went to check on them, Monmouth County
Prosecutor Luis Valentin said.
<snip - blah blah blah>
He said Importuna, who was also a hunter, started the restaurant
with his wife's two brothers about five or six years ago then took it
over himself.
