LAKELAND -- A Lakeland boy remains in stable condition
after an accidental shooting on Sunday.
Brody Brown, 9, was shot before noon at a residence while
he and some friends were playing with a gun before a hunting trip, said
Lanier County Sheriff Clyde Brogdon.
Brogdon said Brown, who is listed in stable condition at
South Georgia Medical Center, had undergone surgery to have the damaged part
of his right leg removed below the knee.
