CHILD KILLED IN HUNTING ACCIDENT

A 12-year-old is dead after a hunting accident.
Robeson County sheriff deputies say two cousins were
hunting in Maxton on Tuesday. Investigators say a 10-year-old boy
accidentally shot the 12-year-old in the head.
He was struck with a bullet from a 20-guage shotgun and
died at the scene.
The shooting is under investigation but officials say they
don't expect to file charges.
