LAKEVILLE MAN INJURED IN HUNTING ACCIDENT

Dassel, Minn. (AP) A Lakeville man was injured in a hunting accident on Lake Maynard, northwest of Dassel.

The Meeker County sheriff's office says 48-year-old Stephen Paul Hamrick was accidentally shot in the right leg with a 20-gauge shotgun by his 12-year-old son.

They were hunting ducks and geese on Lake Maynard when the accident happened yesterday.

Authorities say the victim was airlifted to St. Cloud Hospital. His condition was not immediately available.
