MAN KILLED IN HUNTING ACCIDENT

The Camden County Sheriff's Department and the Missouri Department of Conservation are investigating a bow-hunting accident over the weekend that resulted in the death of an Independence man.

The victim was Ammon D. Cerda, 52. Camden County Sheriff's deputies responded to the call around 7:13 p.m. on Sept. 25. The accident occurred near Laurie. The investigation is continuing.
