ABERDEEN AREA: LOTS OF HUNTING ACCIDENTS

Posted on Tue, Nov. 09, 2004

From staff reports

There have been at least 13 hunting accidents in the Aberdeen area this pheasant hunting season, according to Bill Antonides, a wildlife conservation officer with the state Game, Fish and Parks Department.

Antonides said most of the incidents have not been serious; none has resulted in death.

He said there have likely been even more local hunting accidents that have gone unreported.
