TOWN JUSTICE EHRE DIES WHILE HUNTING

Deerpark Town Justice John Ehre died yesterday while hunting in local woods, officials said.

Ehre, who had been on the bench in Deerpark for more than 30 years, was remembered by Deerpark Town Supervisor Mark House as a good friend, a great proponent of the outdoors and an avid hunter.

"If John had to pick when and how he wanted to go, it would have been out there in those woods," House said.

Other details of Ehre's death were not available at press time.
