A hunter was shot and killed in an apparent hunting accident in
Oakland Township, KDKA-TV reported.
William Campbell, 45, was hunting along Route 38 near the Oneida
Valley Dam around 10 a.m. yesterday when a bullet struck him in the
chest.
Officials with the Pennsylvania Game Commission are investigating
and would not comment on the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
It was the second fatal hunting accident in the past week. On Tuesday,
an Armstrong County man was shot and killed by his father near Sugarcreek.
