PUNXSUTAWNEY, Pa. -- A hunting accident claimed the life of a 12-year-old
Punxsutawney girl, state Game Commission officials said.
Authorities didn't say exactly how Brittanie Frantz was shot but said her
death involved a shotgun that accidentally fired.
The accident occurred a little after 10 a.m. Saturday in Perry Township,
where Brittanie was hunting with her father, James Frantz.
