TEEN FATALLY SHOT WHILE HUNTING

Authorities say a 13-year-old boy was fatally shot Saturday in a wooded area where he and two other boys had been hunting squirrels and target shooting.

According to a news release, Indiana Conservation Officers and Vigo County Sheriff's Deputies were called to the scene about 10 a.m. Saturday.

The victim was taken to Regional Hospital in Terre Haute, where an autopsy is scheduled for Monday.

The shooting is still under investigation.
