RUTLEDGE, Ala. A Rutledge Town council member is listed in serious, but
stable condition after a hunting accident last weekend. A town spokesman
said William Williams, who also serves as Mayor Pro-Tem, fell out of a tree
while hunting on December fourth.
Williams suffered a broken back, three fractured ribs and a punctured
lung.
The Rutledge community is located in Crenshaw County.
