HUNTER SHOT NORTH OF PALO

Linn County Hunting Accident - UPDATE

We now know the name of a hunter shot north of Palo.

Matt Eden of Robins was shot while hunting Saturday in northwest Linn County.

The Department of Natural Resources returned to the scene yesterday to continue looking for where the bullet came from.

The gazette reports that the gun shot came from another hunter but the D.N.R. is still interviewing members of Eden's hunting party.

Eden was airlifted to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. His condition is not being released.
