A Lancaster County man is charged with involuntary manslaughter in the
accidental hunting death of a Kirkwood man.
State police said Barton Brown thought Richard Flood was a deer when
Brown fired one shot toward Flood as he walked along a cornfield in Colerain
Township on Dec. 11.
Flood was pronounced dead at the scene.
Brown was arrested Friday. He is now free on bail.
