Hunter shot while doing "#2"
"Ziter tells of an incident that inspired the creation of the
Ultimate Safety Pak emergency kit. “A friend of mine went hunting with
a group of family and friends on private property. One of the members
of the group had a ‘call to nature.’ After he was nearly done with ‘his
business’ he was wiping himself clean with a white Kleenex napkin. Suddenly
another member of his hunting party shot him in the rump! You see, white
Kleenex looks exactly like a white tail deer ’s tail when it is running!”
"The man was seriously injured and neither he nor anyone else
in the hunting party had any safety paraphernalia to treat the injury.
It took 30 minutes from the time he was taken from the woods to get
him to a nearby hospital. "
