A Chippewa County man was taken to the hospital on Thursday.
Authorities say he was in stable condition after his son shot him in a
hunting accident.
The Trempealeau County Sheriff's Department says Gordon Crosby was
turkey hunting with his son, Joseph. They were in Arcadia on Thursday

Deputies say Joseph thought he was shooting at a turkey. He fired
one shot and the pellets hit his father in the chest, neck and head.
Gordon was taken to Sacred Heart Hospital in stable condition.
Authorities say he should recover.
