This weekend was the opening of pheasant hunting season in Iowa,
and at least seven hunters have already been injured.
State officials say an eigth person died of natural causes in his
car after he felt sick while hunting with a group.
The season runs through January tenth.
The department of natural resources says about 140-thousand hunters
were expected in Iowa this weekend, more than last year ...because
pheasant numbers are up across the state.
