HARBOR SPRINGS - Emmet County sheriff's officials are investigating
a hunting accident that landed a boy in the hospital.
Jacob Nethercutt, 9, was injured in West Traverse Township Sunday
afternoon in what officials said appears to have been the accidental
discharge of a firearm.
Sheriff Peter Wallin said Jacob was transported to Northern
Michigan Hospital, where he is listed in good condition.
