Hunting tragedy: Boy, 13, is shot
A 13-year-old boy was shot and killed Thursday while hunting in
Deerpark.
Killed was David Kingston of Huguenot.
Kingston was hunting in a section of woods near Route 42
Thanksgiving morning with members of his family when he was shot in
the back, according to New York State Police. Police said the gunshot
came from a rifle.
Kingston was taken to Bon Secours Hospital in Port Jervis, where he
later died.
State police are investigating the shooting. No other information
was available yesterday.
