HOLLY TWP. - State police said a Fenton man was accidentally shot
in the head while squirrel hunting Monday when he changed locations
without telling his hunting partner.
Bradley Stuhrberg, 30, is in stable condition at Genesys Regional
Medical Center after surgery to remove bone and bullet fragments
from his head.
Stuhrberg was shot by his hunting companion, a 50-year-old Holly
man, while hunting near Lahring and Fagan roads, police said.
Both men had valid hunting licenses and the incident will be
reviewed by the Oakland County Prosecutor's office.
