By KOMO Staff

MONROE - A 19-year-old was killed Saturday evening in an apparent hunting accident in Monroe.

The Snohomish County Sheriff's Department says it was just after 6:30 when they were called for a shooting in the 19400 block of Tualco Loop Road.

Deputies say the victim, who was hunting with friends, was shot by another hunter in what appears to be an accidental shooting.

Friends attempted CPR on the victim, but he died at the scene.

Deputies say they haven't arrested anyone, but detectives are still investigating the scene. The victim's name has not been released.
