Hunting Death

A weekend accident claims the life of an area hunter.

The accident happened Saturday evening near Bronaugh, Missouri, just south of Nevada in Vernon County. The victim was hunting with two other family members.

No names are being released at this time pending notification of all family members. The body has been sent to Springfield for an autopsy.

The Vernon County Sheriff`s Department and the Missouri Department of Conservation are still investigating the shooting.
