IL - 15-year-old killed while hunting

A hunting accident claimed the life of a 15-year-old Oakland High School student Saturday morning, according to the Coles County Coroner’s Office.

Keith Von Behrens of rural Oakland was killed when his own gun discharged while he was hunting on privately owned land approximately 5.5 miles southeast of Oakland, reported Deputy Coroner Jerrald Bennett.
